Article publication charges

All papers published in Journal of Animal and Feed Sciences are open access and freely available online, immediately upon publication. This is made possible by an article-processing charge (APC) that covers the costs of the article publishing process and language editing.

APC FOR MANUSCRIPTS SUBMITTED SINCE SEPTEMBER 10, 2025
is 1100 CHF (+Tax) or 5000 PLN (+Tax) for one manuscript.

The APC should be paid when the manuscript is editorially accepted, but before publication on the website. It will be charged to the author or institution. The invoice will be sent electronically after the Editor-in-Chief's approval of the article and the designation of the issue.

The APC for manuscripts submitted before September 10, 2025 and then published remains the same as previously: 67 EUR (+Tax) or 67 USD (+Tax) or 320 PLN (+Tax) for one (PDF) page. The additional cost of each colour page in the printed version is 10 EUR (+Tax) or 10 USD (+Tax) or 48 PLN (+Tax).

Poland: 240 PLN (+Tax); abroad: 150 EUR or 200 USD (+Tax) including postage
Orders can be sent either electronically through the website, by e-mail or by post.
The journal office and publisher do not provide paper reprints for authors (even for an extra payment) as all articles are freely available online.

Since Issue 35, No. 1, 2026 the Journal will be published in the online version only.
