Article publication charges

All papers published in Journal of Animal and Feed Sciences are open access and freely available online, immediately upon publication. This is made possible by an article-processing charge (APC) that covers the costs of the article publishing process and language editing.

ATTENTION!
NEW APC FOR MANUSCRIPTS SUBMITTED SINCE SEPTEMBER 10, 2025 AND THEN PUBLISHED.
The new APC is 1100 CHF (+Tax) or 5000 PLN (+Tax) for one PDF.

The APC for manuscripts submitted before September 10, 2025 and then published remains the same as previousely.
The APC is 67 EUR (+Tax) or 67 USD (+Tax) or 320 PLN (+Tax) for one (PDF) page.

The APC should be paid when the manuscript is editorially accepted but before the publication on the website. It will be charged to author or institution. The invoice will be sent electronically after the Editor-in-Chief approval of the article and the designation a number of issue.

Additional costs for manuscripts submitted before September 10, 2025

The additional cost of each colour page in printed version is 10 EUR (+Tax) or 10 USD (+Tax) or 48 PLN (+Tax).

The journal office and publisher do not provide paper reprints for authors (even for extra payment) as all articles are freely available online.

Subscription price:

Poland: 240 PLN (+Tax); abroad: 150 EUR or 200 USD (+Tax) including postage
Orders can be sent either electronically through the website, by e-mail or by post.
Since Issue 35, No. 1, 2026 the Journal will be published in the online version only.
